| Are there any Ebuilds on the portage tree for VLSI architecture and schematic simulations. I.E. this is an Xor gate ... build it in architecture? If so could someone give me the emerge, or at least the folder it would be under? |

it looks like "magic" is applicable, though i've never tried it.
do you mean analysis, synthesis, or a standard cell library?

If you're into professional VLSI design, there's an ebuild for Modelsim in portage:
| Code: | * sci-electronics/modelsim
Available versions: 5.7d
Installed: no
Homepage: http://www.model.com/
Description: VHDL and mixed-VHDL/Verilog simulator |
You will need a license though (which is not really cheap  ), and 5.7d is not the newest version... |
