|
Last week, presumably after an emerge I did, I noticed that my enviroment within Konsole is messed up. When I start it, my command prompt is the bash/sh default and it doesn't change when I source my .bashrc or /etc/profile. Any changes that I manually export within that session stick, but it won't take the changes from the dotfiles. If I 'su - <username>' to myself everything is fixed within that su session and when I login directly to one of the ttys the environment is also normal. I am running Kde 3.1_rc6. |

I have a similar deal. When I log in to one of the ttys or ssh to my computer, my .bashrc isn't read (unless I su to myself user), but when I open a new Konsole my .bashrc is read. _________________ "Disco Stu doesn't advertise." |
