I'm running a couple gtk1 apps under flux and am trying to change the themes. I emergbed gtk themes. (i didn't emerge gtk-engins-eazel since it won't build). When i run switch ... nothing happens. I'm passing it the nemes of dirs in /usr/share/themes. what's wrong? should i move to gtk2? Would that help?

I use fluxbox and gtk1. To change themes, I use "gnomecc" but for some gtk1 themes you need some gtk-engine (I think that you already know this... :P )
For example, I have emerged "x11-themes/gtk-engines-pixmap" and "x11-themes/gtk-engines-xenophilia". To simply know if you need this gtk-engines or other, launch gnomecc from a terminal, and you will try to set the theme, if you have error messages in the terminal, that will say that you to install some gtk-engines (I think also that you're already know this.... :P )
Maybe I'm not really good to explain but I hope that you understand what I want to mean and that can help you :)

Just for information :
Code:
localdomain root # qpkg -l -I -f /usr/bin/gnomecc
gnome-base/control-center-1.4.0.5-r1 *
CONTENTS:
/usr/bin/gnomecc

maybe : x11-themes/gtk-theme-switch (I don't have gtk2, so I've didn't test it).
FYI, I'm using gaim 0.59.8 and gtk1 and I've no problem with my gtk1 themes.
