X on the new Sony Vaio PCG-GRX670

Hello Folks,

I managed to install Gentoo in this nice laptop using the new 1.4_rc2 liveCD with the GRP packages. However, I've been having issues trying to config X correctly for the 1600x1200 resolution on the LCD. The horizontal/vertical values are nowhere to be found... additionally, even if my xfs is running fine, and I have the "unix:-1" for the font resolution, I get a "cannot find 'fixed' font" error.

There is so much more on this particular laptop, like using the jogdial, or usign the second screen available for the Radeon Mobility chipset, or using the TV output. Any idea for either one of these issues? has anybody already configured X/gatos on this laptop?
