Hi
I just emerged enligthenment e16 but when i start it the display look like this:

Does anybody know what could be wrong? I use the nvidia driver for Xfree.

try emergeing eva as well I was getting that and emerge eva cleared it up. plus there is a thread on here about e17 follow the advice there for the evas and libs to emerge it will work for e16 as well it clears your problem up too. I didi and it cleared up but I also reemerged enlightenment after the additon of the evas and libs. found the link

Evas is installed. I tried installing E16 from the tar.gz at the enlightenment website but that ggives me the same problem. |

The screen shot looks like a libpng problem... after you startx, try going back to the console (ctrl-alt-F1 if you started it from tty1) and see what errors E is reporting...
Check the similar problem that I had a while back
Without more detail, I'm not sure if it matches your problem but it sounds similar  |

It din't mesion any problems but it appars it was a imlib problem because it works just fine now after i re emerged imlib. |
