Motion

After a bit of playing around with my webcam, I found out about Motion. It is a program that can monitor your webcam(s) and then record any movement. May be very interesting for surveillance.
Great was my surprise when I found out there was no ebuild. Is there a reason for it not being supported or is it that just nobody has gotten around to making one?
