I used to have an openBSD firewall and there I could use netstat with a switch to see the state of the firewall, specifically which connections were open through the firewall to and from my internal computers. I have been looking for something similar in linux but so far not come up with anything. The GNU/linux netstat seems to not have that feature. _________________ Part of "The adopt an unanswered post initiative" |

And in formulating the letter I came to realize that of course I would find the infor in a file under /proc, and of course the info is all there in /proc/net/ip_conntrak
But it is 3 screenfulls of compact text.
So the question remains in a slightly modified form:
Is there a tool that gives the info it to me in a marginally readable format? _________________ Part of "The adopt an unanswered post initiative" |
