can i do this with cron?

ok, so i want to rebuild gaim-cvs and phoenix-cvs every week

would i just do

emerge unmerge gaim-cvs
emerge gaim-cvs
emerge unmerge phoenix-cvs
emerge phoenix-cvs


where would i put it at? i am using fcron

I don't think you need to do the unmerging. It should automatically unmerge before it merges the new version.

And yes, you can use cron to do that. Exactly how to set up the cron file I couldn't tell you It would be something like:

* * * * 1 emerge blah-blah

But I'm not sure exactly what to put.
