I installed 1.4-rc2, starting with stage3. After installation, I emerged sys-devel/gcc-3.2.1-r6 as part of my emerge -up and got the following error message:
Sanity check of /usr/bin/cpp failed, backing up to /usr/bin/cpp.orig
and replacing with wrapper script! If you have problems, replace it
with the original, or submit a bugreport.
I'm clueless about what this means. gcc continues to work - I just emerge -up'd sys-libs/pam-0.75-r11 and the compile when without a problem. I just don't like error messages I don't understand
Clues? Thanks. |
