Hello Everyone,
I am triying to play JK:A using Winex 3.3 and Point2Play. I've successfully installed the game and I am able to run but with a really poor performance. The sound is extemely chopped and the response of the mouse is very slow.
Any ideas what may be the problem, or how can I start chasing away this this bug in order to enjoy this game?
I have a P3 1Ghz, 512 MB RAM, Ati Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB, and a fully patched Gentoo stable system.
Thanks! |

I played jedi outcast in wine and also had this problem. I changed the sound driver to arts in wine.conf and reduced the buffer size of the arts sound daemon. |

well i dug through my own posts and saw this one, and i remembered how much i sweat my arse off trying to get this to work on linux back then, and how relatively easy and perfect its running now. i couldn't resist to post. |
