Hi!
I can't compile (or rather emerge) newest eclipse. I've got problem with missing file (and directory) build64...
This is a code:
Code: |
gcc -o eclipse-gtk eclipse.o eclipseUtil.o eclipseShm.o eclipseConfig.o eclipseGtk.o `pkg-config --libs-only-L gtk+-2.0` -lgtk-x11-2.0 -lgdk_pixbuf-2.0 -lgobject-2.0 -lgdk-x11-2.0
/usr/lib/portage/bin/ebuild.sh: line 395: cd: /var/tmp/portage/eclipse-sdk-3.1_pre5/work/eclipse-sdk-3.1_pre5/plugins/org.eclipse.swt.gtk64/src/Eclipse SWT PI/gtk/library: No such file or directory
./build64.sh: ./build64.sh: No such file or directory
!!! ERROR: dev-util/eclipse-sdk-3.1_pre5 failed.
!!! Function build-gtk-native, Line 402, Exitcode 127
!!! Failed to build platform-independent SWT support

I don't know what should I do? I have blackdown jdk 1.4.2.01 (afaik) - I can't instal sun-jdk :1.5.0.01 is ok, but it can't be use for compiling eclipse (so later on I will use this vm), 1.4.2.07 I can't emerge (why?) - i put sun-jdk ~adm64 to proper file (etc/portage...) and also unmask sun-jdk - when I made =dev-java/sun-jdk-1.4.2.07 then I"ve got error: has been masked: issing keyword... nice, but not wisdom message.
So - come backing to eclipse - where is a problem? I don't want to use x86 arch - i've got amd64 to increase speed and to have real-64 bits.
Any suggestions?
Reg.

I have been following the bug reports on this for a while now.. it is really sad.. this has been a problem since pre2
Always the same error.. you can manually go to the directory it is talking about and build the files but then when you try to re-emerge.. alas.. it wipes everything and starts over..
I am most eager for an answer to this problem too _________________ Support bacteria -- it's the only culture some people have! |
