Having Dell Inpiron 4000 I booted from CD and to get my xircom card working stwiched off some options at boot: prompt. I added pcmcia_core, i82365 and ds modules with insmod and ran cardmgr -f. Finally I found my adapters configured but dhcpcd eth0 doesn't add the interface. What's wrong?
This is pre-installation phase
Tnx in advance,

First, make sure the network card driver itself is being loaded. For example, on my laptop I have those three modules loaded plus the wlan-ng driver also for my wireless network card.
Second, make sure the interface is there and is actually eth0 with ifconfig -a.

Thank you for response. It seems I really forgot to setup xircom kernel modul.
