nachfolgend eine Meldung aus dmesg die Zuordnung von IRQ's betreffend:

Kann mir jemand sagen, wo man dieses
einträgt? In der Kernelconfig habe ich dazu nichts gefunden. Ich würde das gerne ausprobieren, um hinter die 'Mucken' meines Notebooks zu kommen, welches sich standhaft weigert, ordentlich mit dem(*Schleimwerfer an*) 'wohl besten OS (womit natürlich Gentoo gemeint ist)' (*Schleimwerfer aus*) zusammenzuarbeiten - das verda#@te Dre#*@!ing

Das Argument wird im Bootloader eingetragen.
Wies bei lilo eingetragen werd muss, weiß ich nicht, aber bei grub sollte es so aussehen

Kann mir vieleicht jemand sagen, wo ich mehr Infos zur IRQ-Vergabe finde?
Wenn ich mir die Infos aus der dmesg anschaue, komm ich irgendwie durcheinander -
die IRQ's werden anscheinend mehrfach vergeben und ein und dasselbe Device bekommt im Verlauf der Anmeldung mehrfach eine andere IRQ - irgendwas ist da n.i.O.

Ich glaub nen IRQ vergib das BIOS doch von selbst oder?
Der Treiber muss hi und da mit Paramter (frag mich nicht welche, das ist vom Treiber abhängig) gefüttert werden,

Hallo,
bezugnehmend auf diesen und meinen anderen Thread -->https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-290207.html
habe ich eine Lösung für das Problem gefunden und mir natürlich auch ein neues geschaffen - wie konnte es anders sein.
Nachdem alle Kernelumbauten im Bereich der PCMCIA- und Netzwerkeinstellung keine Ergebnisse gebracht haben, bin ich das 'menuconfig' nochmals mit der Hilfefunktion im einzelnen durchgegangen. Nachdem ich statt der ACPI-Funktion für das Energiemanagment die APM-Funktion aktiviert habe, läuft mein Netzwerk jetzt ohne Probleme. 
Allerdings fährt das System nun beim Befehlnur bis zum Punkt, an dem er mir 'Power off' als Ausgabe bringt, aber er schaltet das System nicht ab.
Gibt es dafür eventuell eine Gentoo-Dummy-gerechte Erläuterung?
Kann ich Teile von ACPI und APM gegebenefalls nebeneinander verwenden (bitte nicht gleich schlagen, wenn die Frage vollkommen hirnrissig ist  ).

Also das der PC ausschaltet das ist ne ACPI funktion. und das kann APm meines wissens nach nicht.
soweit ich weiß sollte man auch nicht APM und ACPI mischen wegen hängen bleiben usw...
aber da gabs nochwas wegen den IRQ's und ACPI... DAMN... habs vergessen... was war das... *grübel* irgend ne option gabs da noch ich glaub man muss da noch beim bootloader sowas wie noapic (nicht acpi sondern echt apic! ) mit übergeben. wenn ich mich nicht irre.... aber obs nun noapic war oder was anderes weiß ich nicht mehr.

ich habe es gefunden und es passt sogar auf meine vorhergehende Fehlerbeschreibung mit dem aktiviertem, aber nicht funktionierenden Netzwerk.

Mich würde mal interresieren ob du die Info nun wegbekommen hast.
Oder geht das Netzwerk und die Info ist immer noch da.

Hallo,
dieser Thread läuft auch unter Flashlightz-Forum.de
Als Vorabinformation:
Es ging um die Installation von Gentoo auf einem IBM-Notebook (thinkpad 600x) und die Einbindung von PCMCIA-Netzwerkarte (XIRCOM Modem und FastEthernetcard).
Das aufgetretene Problem bezog sich darauf, dass das Netzwerk unter der Live-CD und Knoppix problemlos funktionierte und nach der Installation des Gentoobasissystems nach dem rebooten keine Netzwerkverbindung zustande kam. Dabei funktionierte die eingebaute Karte ohne Probleme, man konnte sich selbst anpingen, erreichte jedoch niemanden im eigenen Subnet oder Internet.
Aufgetretene Fehler bezogen sich nicht direkt auf Mängel in der Netzwerkkonfiguration sondern auf 'eigenartige' Zuordnungen der IRQ's während des Bootvorgangs.
Nach etlichen Testläufen, Kernelneukonfigurationen und dem Wälzen von Threads in etlichen Foren und mit viel Unterstützung (nochmals Danke ) hat sich als Fehlerverursacher das ACPI herausgestellt. Und zwar werden hier die IRQ's während des Bootvorgang mehrfach zugewiesen bzw. ein und dieselbe IRQ für verschiedene Devices. Nach dem Abschalten von ACPI und Aktivierung von APM funktionierte das Netzwerk traumhaft. Allerdings macht das APM (zumindest bei mir) Probleme insofern, dass die Power-Off-Funktion nicht funktioniert . Sprich er fährt das System beim Befehl zwar runter, allerdings schaltet er das System nicht aus.
Eine vorgeschlagene Lösung bezog sich darauf, eine eventuell im BIOS vorhandene IRQ-Zuteilung (Plug'nPlay-Service) zu deaktivieren. Allerdings brachte das nicht den erwünschten Effekt.
Lange Rede, kurze Fehlerlösung  - es reicht offensichtlich die Angabe von in der Kernelbefehlszeile vom GRUB unterzubringen. Und damit läuft das Netzwerk.
Falls jemand eine Erklärung dafür hat, warum das so ist - ich bin für alle Erkärungen offen.

Die von dir angegebenen Fehlermeldung ist nicht mehr aufgetaucht - weder im bootscreen noch unter dmsg. Insofern geht das Netzwerk und die Meldung ist weg .
