vim compiled without X11 support

I included "X" in my USE variables but when i emerged vim (version 6.1) it was
compiled without X support. typing :version in vim command mode shows "-X11".

this makes it impossible to do a few things that i like in vim, including
setting the window title to the name of the file being edited.

just wondering what's the easiest fix ... and also why did this happen ??

Does emerging gvim fix any of these problems? The ebuilds are seperate now.
