В отличие от предыдущих проблем теперь как раз везде кириллица работает, кроме флэша! :lol:
Во флэше вааще ничего не отображается, никакие тексты - ни на русском, ни на английском.
Я устал. Народ, подскажите где копать?

Будем думать последовательно. Какие переменные среды могут иметь значение для флэша и как он "видит" дорожку к шрифтам?

Какой flash? Как устанавливался? Пример странички, на которой лезет "бяка".
Дальше --- какие шрифты установлены в системе? Каковы настройки Хов в секции Files?
xft как настроен (/ets/fonts/)?

Все! Пофиксил! :D
XFS все-таки просканировал фонтовые директории. Пришлось чуть-чуть /etc/init.d/xfs подправить (https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-300826-highlight-xfs.html) - не знаю, это помогло, или медитация... :?

А раньше "бяка" вообще не лезла. Вообще пусто было - не читался никакой текст, ни русский, ни английский.
