I have been trying to emerge transcode and it keeps failing.

in function yuv2rgb_init: undefined reference to yuv2rgb_init_mmxext
in function yuv2rgb_init: undefined reference to yuv2rgb_init_mmx

this is the lates version im trying to emerge. (transcode-0.6.14)

I have googled this failure, checked Transcode website, and searched our fourms and haven't found anything on this.

any help you could give would be great.

gcc version 3.4.3 20050110
kernel version gentoo-dev 2.6.11-r3
uses flags "X samba alsa opengl acpi gtk2 mozilla xmms dvd"

Ok, found a fix for me:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72923

it suggests to use:
Quote:

USE="mmx" emerge transcode

worked perfectly for me :)
