Long time reader, first time poster. I've seen these forums work magic so I thought I'd try...
All I'm looking for is a good link/tutorial/notes on how to use samba, ldap, pam_ldap and nss_ldap just so I can look to another LDAP server for logins directly to the server (via SSH) and for Samba (so I can \\server and use my username and password from the remote LDAP server)
If anyone can help I'd be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

We don't use samba here, so I have no experience in this regard but perhaps the Samba-PDC LDAP HOWTO may be what your looking for. _________________ cn=cselkirk,dc=xs4all,dc=nl |
