E-250 and 2.6.10-r2

Ok so yes I'm a sucker for pain.

The "latest" kernel in the docs is 2.6.7 so I decided to emerge gentoo-dev-sources. Now I'm noticing really bad performance all around.

Anyone have a suggestion as to why? Perhaps some new feature I should have turned off in my config? Should I downgrade to 2.6.9?
