can someone help me out. i rebooted, then i got an error with localmount. it told me to run "./localmount broken". so i ran it and the word "checkfs" came up. i was wondering how i can fix this checkfs. if anyone knows , plz help me out :)

Mmmm, the only localmount[/code] I know of is the rc script (run at one of the runlevels - boot, default, single, nonetwork etc). Its in /etc/init.d/localmount.

This service/script requires [color=red]/etc/init.d/checkfs
to be installed. Is it? I'd be surprised if not as its in the sys-apps/baselayout package.

Can you post the full error, I cant see at which point simply "checkfs" is displayed??
