I'm using sftp and now fish to connect to my home machine securely (I Hope ) from within Konqueror 3.0.5a but I can't figure out whether or not compression is enabled. Is it possible to look at the configuration of either client (sftp:// and fish://)
Cheers
ps.I realise some might consider this a network question but I don't have a problem with the actual connection, I'd just like to find some options _________________ I'm too short for this shit |

I don't know of any way to change settings within kde, but I would think that both kio slaves would read your ~/.ssh/config file. Just put a line that says "Compression yes" in it and you should be good to go... |
