new powerbook 17 inches wow

ok I read thru this thread now but still I got one question concerning that videocard stuff.

I never used a mac and never really cared about hardware (means not more than I had to) so I'm not informed

Question is: If I get that powerbook will I be able to use X tough there are no drivers? I don't really care about some kind acceleration but I'd like to use gnome combined with that powerbook is it generally possible and/or has anyone set it up yet?

I believe the latest version of xfree has support - so you should be able to get it to work.

a mac person can back me up / slap me down here.
