Like many others, my ability to emerge programs has broken. I have tried all the standard fixes listed in the forums (fix-libtool-files) etc. None has worked. My error seems to be diffent than the problem others have been having.

The above is from an attempt to emerge gcc.
I also am unabble to emerge -C linux-headers, and can not emerge several of the kde packages.
Is this a different problem?
Can any one help?

I resolved this.
Just emerged binutils and voila.
I had been working on this for over a day. |
