hitting the preview-button causes kooka to crash, the scan-button works (of course that's pretty useless).
xsane works just fine. i use a hp scanjet 3770 with the binary-only drivers from http://ftp.cyberbaladeur.fr/3770.tar.gz
i edited the makefile of sane-backends-0.1.15 to support usb.
i use kde-3.4.2.

i have already recompiled kdelibs, kdebase, libkscan and kooka.
