Hi!

I have upgraded to pure-ftpd 1.0.20-r1. For local distfile distribution I use a symlink to /usr/portage/distfiles on my local (pure-)ftp server in /home/ftp.

Since 1.0.20 I cannot change into the symlinked distfiles directory. Permissions are ok, also I did not change any related config files.

Anyone can help / confirm?

pure-ftpd 1.0.20-r1 introduces a new USE flag +/-vchroot, which gives you the choice to use chroot bypass for symlinks or not, as in previous version support was compiled by default
edit your /etc/portage/package.use in consequence

Ok, yeah...Need to add vchroot to get this to work...Thanks. However, can we get this updated/fixed:

profiles # pwd
/usr/portage/profiles
profiles # grep vchroot use.desc
profiles #

IOW, that USE variable isn't documented in portage.
