Hi all you developers.
Just wanted to say thanks for this great distro.
I've been running suse 7.3 for a little while, and I was pretty satisfied, but the way you handle software is sooooo much better than all the rpm distros.
Once again thanks for this great distro.

Same here
Everything working just fine. I just had to edit some ebuild files from time to time and download some packages manualy, that was all ...

I have to agree...
I used many distributions but none was right for me and Gentoo really seems perfect for me except a few small things in portage etc. but that will hopefully all be fixed with 2.x and the new release...
After all, Gentoo is a very young distribution so this is acceptable  |
