These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "virtual/libpcap".

Solo che ... che cavolo è sto virtual/libpcap? Se lo cerco con il full path non trovo nulla, ne con esearch nè con emerge -s nè su packages.gentoo.org
L'unica cosa che trovo (esearch -S libpcap)

ed è installata (infatti prima avevo ethereal ... poi l'avevo tolto e ora lo volevo re installare). Da che cosa può dipendere? L'unica cosa che ho fatto stamattina è stato pulire /usr/portage/distfiles con rm -rf * dentro quella cartella ...

Prova a riemergere prima libcap e poi ethereal.
