Greetings.
I have been using enlightenment for the past three years, but it is becoming a real chore to keep using it.
Its libraries are so out of date it is a real hassle to even compile epplets for it.
Can anyone recomend a good, lightweight window manager that is also elegant and themeable?
I don't need a taskbar or icons, but I don't want something that is too flat either. |

Fluxbox is lightweight and great, really customizable, the problem with it, is that the usual fluxbox installation is probably too little for you, so here customization is not a choice, it's a must. And it will take a good deal of time to finish the customization.
XFCE4 doesn't looks too ugly and it's lightweight, try it if you don't like fluxbox. _________________ Ask smart questions and follow the guidelines to get your post answered|Answer a unanswered post! |
