I am using Enlightenment with dual monitors. i have been using xinerama and no problems. i got a second nvidia card and i can only use open gl if xinerama is disabled. is there a work around to get xinerama to work with open gl. can you send a window to another monitor with xinerama disabled? _________________ Grateful for professional quality graphics in the free world!

you can use gl extensions on both screens connected to a single nvidia card with twinview (this will provide xinerama extensions on both screens, so you have to turn twinview on and xinerama OFF in your X config file to get it working). |

I guess not, as the trick with twinview is to only define 1 screen & 1 monitor, then twinview takes care of the dirty job without X having to do anything.
So I doubt you can get twinview running over 2 cards, but don't take my word for it, there's some official twinview docs for linux from nvidia, have a look there |
