ich erzähl mal kurz meine Geschichte. Die Sourcen von gimp 2.2.3 runtergeladen dann kompiliert, beim starten hieß es ich bräuchte freetype 2.1.7 oder höher, gut gesagt getan, dann lief halt firefox nimmer. Also dachte ich uninstall ich mal wieder frettype 2.1.9 und mit emerge wieder freetype 2.1.5. Dann ging alles wieder, auch die Schrift sah dann überall wieder toll aus ( was es nach der Installation von 2.1.9 nicht tat) Dann hab ich gimp deinstallier und hab gim 2.0.4 emerget. Danach war die Schrift wieder scheiße, Firefox ging nicht, aber freetype 2.1.5 is immer noch installiert, wird halt aber irgendwie nicht erkannt. Woran kann das liegen? Ich hab schon rumgegoogelt und hab nix gefunden was mir helfen könnte. Wie kann ich denn freetype aktivieren oder so. Weil installiert ist es nur erkannt wird es irgendwie nicht. Also überall sieht die Schrift scheiße aus, in der Konsole die Schrift im KDE MEnü und Firefox stürzt halt immer ab. Kann mir jemand helfen?

Du mußt alles was von Freetype abhängt für Freetype >=2.1.8 neu kompilieren. Und nein: revdep-rebuild fängt das nicht ab.

Ja das hab ich auch schon gemerkt, deswegen hab ich ja 2.1.8 wieder uninstallt und den 2.1.5 wieder drauf und dann müsste doch alles wieder laufen. Ich mein das tuts jetzt auch, allerdings ist die Schriftart in der Konsole auch wieder recht komisch. Naja ich lad mir mal ein paar Schriftarten runter und schau mal ob ich das alles so hinbekomme, das es gut aussieht, alles neu zu compilen is ja mal richtig scheiße.
