Hello,

I am also having the same problem. There is a bug report here: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13235 I haven't heard of any solution yet.

I am also having another problem that is likely related to this. I cannot open gnome2 apps as they use Luxi Sans, and I am getting an error message that the font file cannot be found. I have updated fonts.conf, ran fc-cache, but all to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.
