Hi i am trying to configure X using Xorg -configure and I keep on getting signal 11,what could be wrong?

From that info I can't tell you what's wrong, but give xorgconfig a shot and see if you can get that to run.

I have always used Xorg -configure to do my 1st config then tweaked it in nano, but this time Xorg did not run. It tried all the drivers, but the live CD told me that I had a SIS graphics card and I chose that in xorgconfig(THANKS) and I am writing this from konqueror not links.
