Do we really want all those viruses and have insecure browsers back again? I expect this is why most computer litterate people don't use IE - no matter whether they are on Windows or not. If you really want IE on Linux there is always WINE.

Anyway, back you question: I highly doubt it.

I sure hope they don't make it... although you can guarentee one thing, if Microsoft is doing something for Linux it can only be bad for Linux.

i never used ie in windows too.. but i still wanna listen to launchcast and watch other videos.. and that requires activex.. so thats the only time i used ie..
if microsoft makes activex for linux.. u can just turn it on when u need it.. so there would be a very small chance of an atack unless someone hacks launchcast (or other site)
there should be an alernative to activex and no sites should even use it again

u meant this:
http://www.iol.ie/%7Elocka/mozilla/control.htm#download
cause there is nothing on transgaming.. besides cedega which is not free.. and the activex for mozilla is only in executable form for windows.. and no source code
or am i wrong?

An alternative to activeX exists, it's called Java.

Before believing anything you may want to check when the article was written. That article was written over 7 years ago so I highly doubt much of it still relates.
