the default nice value for normal users is 0 in gentoo. i'dd like to change that to 10 which is normal in other distributions.
how is it done. i havent found a place to set it? |

the default scheduling priority is 0 - see setpriority(2). if you still want to change that, see limits(5), and have a look at /etc/limits and /etc/security/limits.conf.
