This is a slightly odd question, but is there any easy way to do ACPI calls, instead of loading a module to do it?
Specifically, I need to write something to ACPI to enable or disable my wireless antenna on my laptop. It appears I just need to send 0x000 or 0x001 to _SB_.LAN._PSW. There are no ways doing this via the proc interface that I know of.
It appears it can be done from acpi_evaluate_object(), however there seems to be no documentation on the subject that I could readily find. Or what I link a program against, what headers, etc..
I'm kind of a beginner in C programming, so if anyone has any kind of examples that would be helpful!
Thanks. |
