I suggest this, because "wombat" (ximian-evolution uses this) needs the libplc4.so from mozilla.
But phoenix (and other mozilla-based browsers? ) also offers this library. I'd to do "emerge inject mozilla" because this is a dependency for evolution and I don't want to have a mozilla-1.* on my system.
Also I'd to create an env-file in /etc/env.d to have the right LDPATH (="/usr/lib/phoenix" in this case).
Maybe with a virtual/mozilla and a general way to link the mozilla-libraries users will have more flexibility choosing their mozilla distribution. |
