Search placement.

I've been frequenting the forums more and more lately, and enjoy learning and helping others with Gentoo and Linux in general. I've also been seeing more and more similar threads because people don't bother searching. I feel that people are lazy, and don't go to the Search at the top of the page. I don't know how hard it would be to implement in your forum system, but some forums (like forums.anandtech.com) have a search function at the top of every thread list. The person can just type a parameter in and hit the search button, it will search just that forum and I personally think many more people will use the search function if it was placed there.
