I'm trying to install transcode, but it doesn't want to compile :/
Im using

PART 1:

emerge --pretend transcode

Result:
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] media-video/transcode-0.6.0

... Everything looks fine?

PART 2:

emerge transcode
...Compiling...

Result in the end:

filter_pp.c: In function `tc_filter':
filter_pp.c:157: `GET_PP_QUALITY_MAX' undeclared (first use in this function)
filter_pp.c:157: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
filter_pp.c:157: for each function it appears in.)
make[3]: *** [filter_pp.lo] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/transcode-0.6.0/work/transcode-0.6.0/filter'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/transcode-0.6.0/work/transcode-0.6.0/filter'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/transcode-0.6.0/work/transcode-0.6.0'
make: *** [all] Error 2

!!! ERROR: media-video/transcode-0.6.0 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line -165, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)

Why does it do this? Is it something special that has to be installed before installing transcode?

Don't use .6.0, just go right to .6.1. I had the same problem with .6. It's in the /usr/portage/media-video/transcode directory. Works better than .6.0 anyway.
