I try to enable my sound card by following the instruction in "http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/alsa-guide.xml"
Everything goes fine, but after I reboot, the following words show up: "Restoring Mixer Levels... No mixer config in /etc/asound.state, you have to unmute your card!". In fact there is no file named /etc/asound.state
I try to run alsamixer, but an error msg says: "function snd_stl_open failed for defaults: No such file or directory"
How can I do? |

Will there be any difference between adding alsasound to boot and to default? |
