Problems with ut200 Live CD on laptops with Radeon 7500

I am trying to get running the live CD on two laptops both with Radeon 7500 mobility graphics.
I use x-setup to create a XF86Config and change the driver to ati or radeon, Add the DRI section.

but I can only get X to run if comment in the DRI module and comment out the GLX module. Of course UT needs GLX to run.

With GLX in, I get __glxActiveServers from libdri.a is unresolved
and Caught Sinal 11 on GlxExtensionInit.

I would be most greatfull for any assistance.......
