Gnome 2.1.5 with GTK+2.2.0

How do I install foser's or karl's gnome 2.1.5 with GTK+2.2.0 and the new pango? I really don't want to start modifing all the ebuilds, does anyone has any solution?

The only solution is to edit the ebuild such that they require GTK+2.1.5 or higher for example and not only GTK+2.1.X

This is what I did and it worked perfectly
