I would like to say how to make my windows in Gnome remember position and size. This is posible ??

That's the feature that I miss most from Sawfish and gnome-1.4, followed closely by the tweakability of panels. I have looked for the setting in both Sawfish and Metacity but it seems to have disappeared. Hopefully, it will come back.

indeed. that and window snapping. If you want to use sawfish, you certainly *can*, but I'd rather just see these in gnome's default WM.

You can snap windowss by holding down shift while draging the window you wish to snap to something, something being border of screen or another window.
