Hi, nach einem reboot gestern, sind auf einmal meine fonts verzerrt...
Kann sich das jemand erklären?

hi also allgemein, ich habe kein bootsplash aktiviert, die fonts sind in soweit verzerrt, sodass die buchstaben nicht in einer zeile liegen. das macht sich direkt beim booten beim login manager bemerkbar. ich weiss nicht mehr weiter, hab nur einen "reboot" gemacht mit nem filesystem check auf der root partition, mehr nicht. und er meinte 15%non-contigious!
wäre dankbar für hilfe

meine xorg.conf, und achja weiss nur, dass etc-update "trivial changes in nvidia" auto-merged hat, ist aber bei jedem kernel und das nvidia modul war für den neuen, die alten haben das selbe problem!

Hi!
Also handelt es sich um die X-Oberfläche und dem grafischen Anmeldemanager.
Hab ich das richtig verstanden?
Ich habe da noch eine Frage. Hat das einen Grund das du nur mit 16 Bit Farbtiefe arbeitest?
Ansonsten würde ich in der Section "Screen" DefaultDepth von 16 auf 24 ändern.
Hm.
Verwendest Du einen Font-Server? Hast Du evtl. spezielle Schriften installiert?
Ich nehme an, das dir etc-update eine config überschrieben hat. Dadurch findet er entweder nicht mehr die richtigen Schriften oder sonst was ähnliches.
In der Regel werden Sicherungen angelegt. D. h. du müsstest jetzt mittels ls oder dir mal durchschauen welche *.conf dateien zum besagten unglücksmoment geändert wurden. |

mh sehr seltsam also hab mal freetype neu emerged bzw ein update gemacht, jetzt scheint alles normal zu sein, jedoch das gnome terminal hat immer noch probleme, die anderen aber nicht. vermutlich nen fehler vom gnome-term oder?

Würd ich nicht unbedingt sagen.
Es könnte auch sein, das das terminal proggi eine andere schriftart verwendet.
Kannst du die nicht einstellen? |

doch kann ich, aber das problem tritt in diesem terminal mit _jeder_ schriftart auf.

Hm. Also langsam glaub ich an ein Fehlerhaftes USE-Flag (Also das es nicht richtig geschrieben ist oder so)
Hast Du das Terminal-Programm nochmals neu installiert?
Vielleicht hilft das was.
Ansonsten würde ich auch die anderen Schriftpackete (corefonts usw... sofern installiert) nochmals mergen. |
