yes!!!!
i use it on my k6-II 400 mhz machine and together with fluxbox it runs fast!

be sure to start from stage 1 as the isos are made only for i686 processors. compiling can take really a long time (14hrs for bootstrapping) but you're rewarded with a throughly optimized system.
