using xcdroast to make a data cd, using the exact same methods I used in mandrake before I migrated to gentoo, the burn gives no errors, but when i try to mount the burned cd, i get
Quote: | mount: No medium found |
my xcdroast log shows the following:
Quote: | Wed Dec 18 12:15:50 2002 XCDR 0.98alpha10: Entering create cd

alright, didn't get any comments, but that is probably due to lack of info.
using webmin to create the cd (never bothered learning how to use cdrecord by the command line)
I got the following:
Quote: | Track 01: Total bytes read/written: 734199808/734199808 (358496 sectors).
Writing time: 2390.986s
Average write speed 2.0x.
Min drive buffer fill was 99%

Sense Key: 0x3 Medium Error, Segment 0
Sense Code: 0x02 Qual 0x00 (no seek complete) Fru 0x0
Sense flags: Blk 0 (not valid)

cdrecord: fifo had 11565 puts and 11565 gets.
cdrecord: fifo was 0 times empty and 11488 times full, min fill was 89%. |
The was successfully burned onto the cd, but the only error came afterwords. There is one possibility, in that I was burning an avi, and the iso file size came out as 700.1875 MB, bigger than a 700 MB cdr, but I was hoping it would overburn a little.
Anyway, any ideas? |
