OK, dude. You need help. Seriously. No matter how cool Gentoo is, there are certain....ah....assets that only your girlfriend can provide. :)

What you got to do is get your girldfriend to like gentoo as much as you do. Just dont let her fall in love with it more than with you!

This might be a good advice.

I can see the future already:

comming home from work:

Yo sweatheart,
did you do an update-system? and an update-world?
Did you let the dogs out??
etc....

And by the way, i'll submit some pr0n ebuilds for you scandium, lol

dude... just change your BG Picture, change it to your g/f PIC.
You should add several crontab tals like sending you emails which are from your g/f, which are actually faked.

I almost forgot to pick my girlfriend up from the train station because my 8 hour emerge of evolution was about to finish...

She was excited for me though -- it's a good life when you've got a geek girl about!

I cant say I know what fluxbox is (only new but still very anti ms and loving linux) but I'd say that if someone cant share stuff youre excited about, they musnt be worth hanging out with.

I think me learning about stuff he does (this geeky linux stuff) has brought me and my guy closer together. But then again, I like geeky boys as opposed to the non geeky ones.. :D

It's a window manager for X, similar to blackbox, enlightenment or kwin. It's *not* the same as KDE or Gnome, which are full-fledged desktop environments.

First, I think that getting your significant other involved in Gentoo is perfect--Then the jealousy is not there you both simply enjoy the love together.

Second, littlekif you make a very intriguing post!! I'm really surprised we haven't seen more replies to you looking for a girlfriend. Sounds like fun to me, maybe we need to hang out some time!!! (and my girl too, maybe?) He he -- That is unless I am really reading your post from in the gutter and you were writing from some place a little cleanlier. [[Probably the case, as usual I am in my own fantasy world--Like a Goon (hence the moniker)]]

Too much fun in this thread!!!

Wow, that's some pretty serious stuff... I don't know about that. I mean if it was vi she didn't like then maybe, but you can't really hold something like that against her if she's not into linux. The only absolute would be if she used emacs. Then you need to get out quick. :)

I don't think we have the "extra girlfriend" problem. And if we do have this problem I don't think we consider it a problem.
