|

I'm attempting to install gentoo linux but my only internet connection is through an Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem. I was wondering if this is supported and if so how to install it, and if it isn't how would I go about installing it.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm very wet behind the ears so I ask for your patience. |

A search in the forum with "speedtouch" may answer your question. |

If it's that puple speedtouch modem then good luck! I spent a few hours trying and failing to get that modem working. I came to the conclusion that it's currently unsupported under Linux. I know the the old blue one works but the purple one seems like a no no..
Strange thing is that Alcatel claim it to run under Linux :-/ |
