I want to save my gtk2 theme settings. At the moment, i have to change it via gnome-control-center each time i restart my fluxbox desktop. It even doesn't matter whetther i start via gdm or startx.
Anyone knows how to solve this problem? _________________ "Fall seven times, stand up eight." |

Switch2 works wonderfully. Just emerge gtk-theme-switch and run it. (The executable is "switch2") You get a list of themes installed, the ability to change the font, and a preview. The changes will stick until changed again.
If you want to change GTK1 themes, you need to emerge an older version of switch. The 2.x series handles GTK2 while the 1.x series handles GTK. Have fun! |

Thanks, but now i have another problem: switch2 doesnt load my custom font for the theme. I have tried to apply a different font directly in the gtkrc of the theme named "dwerg" but with no effect. i still have to start gnome-control-center or start the gnome-settings-daemon to apply my settings (when starting gnome-settings-daemon, my virtual desktops get lost and i have to restart fluxbox). _________________ "Fall seven times, stand up eight." |
