Keyboard problem on my laptop

Hi all

When booting with every gentoo boot CDs available in order to install the distro, after the boot process, my keyboard stops responding, no way to type anything.

Any suggestions ( HP omnibook xe4400 ) ?

I have this same problem with my HP ZE4100. There is a problem in the USB support (uses usb-ohci module). Basically to fix this, I compile usb as a module, and load it when I need it. Hopefully a future kernel will support it better. Oh, and to get it working on install, I just mashed some keys while it was booting
