Error during Bind patching

Hello All

I have been slowly working my way towards getting all my systems up and running. Yesterday I realized I didnt have bind-tools nor bind installed.

I emerged bind-tools 1st then bind which in itself raises a question, but thats for later.

When I did a emerge bind I get the following error message..

unpack patch.9.2.2-P1: file format not recognized. Ignoring.


Since it happened on 2 different systems I dont think its a system problem.
