(s)vcd -> avi ?

hi,
i found some hints how to convert an avi to a svcd, but is it possible to convert a svcd to an avi ? Which programs are needed to do this ?

You can convert SVCD to AVI using mencoder, for example. Or using transcode too.

Look at the "DVD to Divx using mencoder" guide in http://dvdripping-guid.berlios.de. And then instead of using the dvd as input, just use the SVCD file as input.
